What Stat is
Stat is a NursePal product surface for U.S. healthcare staffing market intelligence. It is delivered through three channels:
- Stat chat — the AI chatbot at /stat.
- Stat MCP server — a Model Context Protocol endpoint at
nursepal.com/mcp/that exposes the same underlying tools to MCP-compatible AI clients (Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, and similar). - Stat MCP sandbox — the form-driven tool playground at /stat/mcp/sandbox.
All three surface market rate estimates, fill probabilities, forecasts, demand momentum, agency/MSP footprint information, and hospital/system directory data, drawing on aggregated public job postings and NursePal’s proprietary datasets. These terms apply to all three. By installing the MCP server, calling its endpoints, using the sandbox, or interacting with Stat chat, you accept these terms.
No professional advice
Stat’s answers are not financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, employment advice, compliance advice, or medical advice. Nothing Stat says creates a fiduciary, professional, advisory, broker, or employment relationship between you and NursePal.
Hiring, contracting, compensation, and staffing decisions carry legal, regulatory, financial, and operational implications. Always consult qualified professionals (legal counsel, HR, finance, compliance, your VMS, etc.) before acting on any information Stat provides.
Stat can make mistakes
Stat uses large language models and historical data. It can produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information — including specific dollar figures, percentile ranges, fill probabilities, and hospital or system lookups. Rates change quickly and sample sizes vary by market and specialty. Always verify rates and information against multiple primary sources before relying on them.
Data sources and freshness
Rate, fill-probability, and forecast estimates are derived from aggregated job postings and may lag the real-time market by hours or days. Hospital and system directory information is sourced from public records and NursePal data and may be incomplete or out of date. Specialties, professions, and locations not commonly covered in the underlying data may produce especially unreliable answers.
Agency, MSP, VMS, and facility names
Stat’s answers may name specific agencies, MSPs (Managed Service Providers), VMS (Vendor Management System) platforms, hospitals, and health systems. Their inclusion is not an endorsement, recommendation, or claim of affiliation. NursePal is not sponsored by, partnered with, or affiliated with any third party named in Stat’s outputs unless explicitly stated. Names appear because they were observed in publicly available job postings or other public sources. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
MCP server and sandbox
The Stat MCP server is provided for evaluation and integration in MCP-compatible clients. It exposes the same underlying tools available in Stat chat. The sandbox is a public, email-gated playground for the same tools.
- No SLA. The MCP server and sandbox are offered without uptime, latency, or correctness guarantees. NursePal may change, deprecate, rate-limit, throttle, or remove tools and endpoints at any time without notice.
- Usage caps. The sandbox enforces per-email and per-IP call caps. Exceeding either cap returns an HTTP 402 or 429. NursePal may adjust caps without notice.
- No reverse engineering or bulk extraction. You may not script, scrape, or otherwise programmatically harvest the underlying datasets through the sandbox, the MCP server, or any other surface. The tools are intended for interactive evaluation and per-question use by AI agents.
- No redistribution as a standalone dataset. You may use Stat’s outputs to inform your own decisions and workflows, but you may not republish them as a primary data source, resell them, or hold them out as independently sourced without our written agreement.
Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) use Stat to make automated decisions that affect individuals without human review, (b) attempt to extract or reconstruct the underlying datasets, (c) misrepresent Stat’s output as independent professional advice, (d) use Stat for any unlawful purpose, or (e) bypass the sandbox’s per-email or per-IP caps via throwaway addresses, proxy rotation, or similar. NursePal may rate-limit, log, or block usage at its discretion.
Privacy
Anonymous Stat chat sessions log the IP address, user agent, and question content for abuse prevention and quality improvement. When you sign up via the inline form, we additionally store the email and role you submit.
MCP sandbox. When you submit your email to use the sandbox, NursePal stores that email together with the number of calls you’ve made, the timestamps of your first and most recent call, the IP address(es) we observed, and the user-agent string on your first call. This data is used to enforce the call cap, prevent abuse, and (with your continued use) to send you product updates about NursePal. If you later sign up for a paid Stat account, we link the records so we can attribute the conversion.
MCP server. Direct MCP calls from your AI client log the request envelope (tool name, arguments, IP, user-agent) for abuse prevention. We do not associate these logs with any email unless you also separately authenticate.
We do not sell this information. See the main NursePal privacy policy for full details, retention windows, and your rights of access / deletion / opt-out.
No warranty; limitation of liability
STAT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NURSEPAL AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF STAT.
Changes
We may update Stat’s behavior, these terms, and the underlying data at any time. Continued use of Stat after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
